For Communities

We deliver sessions on social enterprise that stretch widely across many aspects of this sub-sector and we would love to present to your organization, team or community. We also work with a network of experts across the province and we’d be happy to coordinate a custom session that dives into any specific area your team is looking to explore.

Our Social Enterprise 101 session runs monthly and is led by our Program Manager. Throughout this session social enterprise is defined, business models are reviewed and a series of existing social enterprises explored.

Attend the new senco Series to shadow our facilitators as they take participants through the steps of building out a business based on impact, prototyping a new product or service, or building the framework for a social enterprise using core concepts from the Flourishing Business Model Canvas. Each of the three Series has a different focus and each Series also has three session, or as we are calling them Colabs. Series 1 will tackle Ideation and Feasibility, Series 2 will dive into the Flourishing Business Model Canvas, and Series 3 is focused on Pitching, Scaling and Impact Measurement. Register here today!

senco’s team of experts are also available for mentorship, coaching, or consulting should your organization be looking for one-on-one engagement.

senco is eager to build partnerships across the region with intermediaries looking to support social enterprise activity in their communities. Partnerships have taken shape through co-hosting events, establishing referral pathways to existing programs, co-creating new resources for existing social enterprises and emerging social entrepreneurs, and through participation in our regional Social Enterprise Sector Development Groups (SESDG). If you might be interested in participating in one of eight SESDG meetings across the region, let us know and we’d be happy to share more details with you on this opportunity.

In addition to partnership, senco is open to pursue and distribute funding in collaboration with other intermediaries across the region. If your organization sees an opportunity to work towards financial partnership we would gladly discuss potential arrangements with you.

senco supports communities looking to learn about social enterprise or partner in supporting local initiatives. If you would like to find out more information, all you need to do is complete the online form below – we’d love to hear from you!

“We are excited to begin supporting social enterprise activity in this region!”
